Dr. Zachary Neumann attended the University of Illinois for a total of 10 years encompassing his undergraduate studies, veterinary studies, and then returning (after a one-year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the University of Minnesota) for a three-year residency program in oncology. During his residency, he also completed his master’s degree in veterinary clinical medicine researching osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in dogs. He became a board-certified medical oncologist through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2015 and has been in Jacksonville, FL with Southeast Veterinary Oncology and Internal Medicine (SEVO-Med) ever since. He became Medical Director of SEVO-Med in 2021 after the acquisition by NVA-CF.
