We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of two exceptional leaders within our organization: Donna Sroczynski and Dr. Patrick Welch. Their contributions have been pivotal to our mission, and we’re excited to see them step into their new roles, where they will continue to drive innovation and excellence across our network.
Donna Sroczynski: Head of Operations
Donna Sroczynski has been an integral part of the Ethos family for the past three years. Her promotion to Head of Operations is a testament to her outstanding leadership and deep commitment to operational excellence. In her new role, Donna will oversee all operations across our 143 locations, ensuring that our hospitals continue to deliver the highest standard of care and service.
Donna’s journey to Ethos brought her rich experience from her previous role as President of the renowned human healthcare organization, Symphony Post Acute Network, and Director of Operations and Vice President of Clinical Operations at Kindred Healthcare. Her extensive background in both clinical and operational leadership has been instrumental in shaping the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
Donna will also oversee our Referral Relations group, and will continue to oversee the National Service Center, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across our network. Her strategic vision and operational expertise have already made a significant impact, and we look forward to the continued success she will bring to Ethos in her expanded role.
Patrick Welch, DVM, MBA, DAVCO: Head of Innovation and Clinical Learning & Development
We are equally excited to announce the promotion of Dr. Patrick Welch to Head of Innovation and Clinical Learning & Development, a new role that recognizes his unwavering dedication to pioneering transformative change in the veterinary profession. Dr. Welch, who has been with Ethos for 16 years, will now join our leadership team, bringing his passion for innovation, learning, and technology to the forefront of our strategic initiatives.
As the founder of VetBloom, our groundbreaking learning platform, Dr. Welch has already made a profound impact on how veterinary professionals learn and grow. His work has positioned Ethos as a leader in competency-based education and collaborative learning ecosystems, helping to set new standards in veterinary education.
In his new role, Dr. Welch will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in animal health. Reflecting on his journey and looking to the future, Dr. Welch shared, “Ethos has always been at the forefront of innovation, especially in the areas of learning and growth. From initiatives like VetBloom to the development of competency-based programs and pioneering research on digital learning credentials, we’ve consistently pushed boundaries. Now, we’re poised to go even further. Our vision extends beyond incremental improvements—we’re setting our sights on revolutionary advancements that will redefine what’s possible in animal health”.
